Iscreamnails recently sent me five polishes to review. I’ve had my eye on them for a while, just look at the cute bottles! They are an Aussie Company with salons in Melbourne and Sydney and have worked with some of Australias top brands and specialise in nail art for events such as hens days, birthday parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate events and instore events. They have a range of 17 (currently) nail polishes all in these cute ice cream cone bottles.

From the top clockwise: Blackberry Mousse, Of Course Apple Sauce!, You Blue It!, Big Marshmallow and Gummy Bear

The Swatches:

Blackberry Mousse – OMG I love love love this one. Perfect in two coats and such a beautiful colour.

Of Course Apple Sauce – A gorgeous minty green, opaque in two coats. I’m not a massive fan of this shade but if it floats your boat the formula was spot on.

You Blue It! – A deep sky blue and so good, again a two coater. Sounding a bit like the record has stuck….

Gummy Bear – Now excuse the weird skin tone but I had to edit to try and be colour accurate. This one is so bright and a bit of an odd ball amongst the pastels. It was a three coater to make sure there was no vnl but who cares when the colour is this vibrant?!

Big Marshmallow – Bright baby pink and back to a two coater. So easy to apply  and so wearable. Love in buckets for this one.

The Nail Arts:

Blackberry Mousse – I used my Frosted C-Thru stamper from Cosette Nail Shop and I love it. I’m really pleased with the placement of the stamped lines. I love this mani a lot!

Stamped using Moyou Hipster 08 and Barry M Silver Foil

Of Course Apple Sauce! – I did actually attempt a water marble accent for this one. I think water marbling is not a sport for an Australian summer in 30°+ weather! So this is all I have for poor greeny 😓

Striping tape grid over white using all four pastel shades

You Blue It! – I stamped this one with my Cosette Nail Shop C-thru Purple stamper, the harder one. I don’t like it as much as the softer version but it worked sort of OK. The outline isn’t perfect but oh well!

Stamped flower using CJS-01 with Gummy Bear, Big Marshmallow, MDU Black and White

Gummy Bear – I reverse stamped using my Messy Mansion Crystal Stamper. To be honest I can’t tell the difference between this and the Cosette one. They look and perform identically and I love them both. A bit like having two children, no favourite here 😂 But please what is it with my middle finger? It’s just so retarded it just won’t play nicely at stamping!!

Reverse stamped using Bundle Monster BM-XL205 by @magicallypolished, MDU Black and Big Marshmallow

Big Marshmallow – Double stamping using my MM Crystal stamper (no not favouritism, it was just out, ok!) I nicked the design from my absolute nail crush, Anna Gorelova. Swoon.

Stamped using Konad Square plate 01, Gummy Bear and Sinful Colors SMW

So there you have all five. My pick would be Gummy Bear for it’s fabulous bright 😎 colour (I’ve found emoji’s on my macbook!) and Blackberry Mousse and Big Marshmallow from the pastels. They were all a delight to use and will be out many more times!

If you’ve lasted this far then here’s a treat. My failed water marble 😂😂
