piCture pOlish – #mypicturepolish

Disclosure Statement

Some time ago Jules from piCture pOlish asked people to post photographs on Instagram of their PP collection. This was my photograph

Taken 6 months ago and there are 177 of the beauties marching up the stairs ;o)

After a recent trip down the coast to visit the new PP Headquarters my collection now numbers 195 –  which doesn’t include basecoats, topcoats and treatments! I’m not seeing a problem here….

I was kindly give three polishes of my choice to review as part of #mypicturepolish. Its a nice way for PP to say thank you to some of its loyal customers.

I first became aware of PP when my daughter, who was living in the UK, asked me to collect some polish for her as I was about to head off to visit her. Time not being on my side for posting Jules offered to meet me and hand the polish to me in person. That was back in the day when I hadn’t discovered my love of the lacquer and Jules and Meg were operating from their garage at home. Oh how things have changed! I’ve just bought my 6th Helmer and you should see the swish new PP Headquarters now! Anyway onto my swatches….

Wanderlust – A collaboration with Naildecor aka Manal, is a bright pink scattered holo with blue glass flecks. The formula is perfect and so easy to apply in two coats.

I didn’t top coat the stamping to give a matte contrasting texture

Stamped with Messy Mansion Carbon and Konad Square plate 01

Arabian – A collaboration with Didoline aka Dorra, is a deep crimson red with scattered holo with a touch of gold and rainbow flecks and has the gorgeous formula that PP is renowned for. Two delicious coats.

Again I left the stamping without top coat. it gives it a sort of leathery look.

Big Bang – A collaboration with La NPA Mouton aka Faustine, is a dusky purple with scattered holo and multi coloured flakies. Yet again faultless application in two coats.

I love this one with a matte top coat.

Stamped using Pueen Lace Blossom plate with Hit the Bottle Paint the Town Violet and topped with a matte top coat.

I have to say these would be up there with my all time PP favourites. Very different polishes for different occasions. Out of the three Wanderlust just nudges across the winning line in first place for me :0) These beauties are all available from piCture pOlish
