Ubermat Travels!

I do love my Übermat!IMG_9546

When Brittany from Überchic Beauty emailed me earlier this year asking if I’d like to test an Übermat I said yes please (I’m polite like that!) and then I thought what the heck is an Übermat? It is quite simply a NPA’s best friend. it is awesome for trying out stamping designs, testing polish for stamping, making decals and generally just faffing around having a good time with your polish.

But…. where it really excels is as your travelling companion. No more doing a mani  away from home fretting that you might knock over the acetone and whip the varnish off that very nice antique desk in that very expensive hotel or even stick your clean up brush to the nasty plastic bedside table in the cheap motel that was the only room you could find because you forgot to book accommodation for a girls weekend away. I am blonde, I rest my case ;o)

So here are a few photos of my Übermat on holiday with me when I recently jetted off for 10 weeks to the UK for my daughter’s wedding in Norwich, England with trips to Ireland and Scotland.

Cork Ireland

Hotel Garnish, Cork
Best Irish breakfast ever; University College; Cool artwork; Awesome TV stand!

Donegal Ireland

Donegal, Ireland. Its not a prison cell just the railings by the verandah!
Breakfast with Irish bread, yum; Knocking back a pint; Much needed for this Irish Folk Duo; A really really old fireplace in Donegal Castle

Glasgow Scotland

Glasgow and a teeny table
Lovely buildings in Glasgow; and Bridges; and old loos; and a giant glass woodlouse!

Durham England

Lumley Castle, Durham. So expensive and not worth it. The view was spectacular tho it doesn’t look it here! Gotta love those old radiators.
Creepy bedroom with a note saying it was haunted! Old school loo; Nice meal; My sort of biscuit serving!

Norwich England

Wedding morning doing my nails. Nervous! Norwich may be the arse end of nowhere but it sure is a beautiful place
THE DAY! Chaucer Barn at Gresham is just the most stunning place. My Girl and her man and the fur baby, Hannah with her sister Helen and bestie Zoë, the bridesmaids, the gorgeous teepee for the wedding reception and the bride, Hannah looked just so beautiful.

London England

And sometimes the only place with decent lighting is the loo…. ;o)
St Paul’s, The Globe, The zero meridian at Greenwich and Tower Bridge

And so I’m home, the cases are away and the laundry done. Time for nails!
